Common Questions
Is my board repairable?
Most boards can be repaired depending on the damage. Send photos or bring the board in for assessment.
Before bringing in your board?
1. Remove temporary patches
Take off tape and waterproof patches before bringing the board in.
2. Remove loose hardware
Take off the leash and remove fins where possible.
3. Clean off sand and dirt
Boards should be free from sand and dirt so the damage can be assessed properly.
How much will the repair cost?
Pricing depends on the damage, board type and materials involved. See our pricing section or contact us for an assessment.
How long do repairs take?
Most standard repairs are completed within 24–72 hours depending on damage and workload.
Do you offer rush repairs?
Yes. Same-day, next-day and priority repair options are available depending on workload.
Do you repair epoxy boards?
Yes. DingDoc repairs both polyester and epoxy surfboards.
How do I send boards to Thulusdhoo?
Boards can be sent to Thulusdhoo via public ferry, speedboat cargo services or through your accommodation or surf operator. Contact DingDoc and we’ll guide you through the easiest option.
Can I pay in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR)?
Yes. Payments in MVR are accepted based on the exchange rate of USD 1 = MVR 20.
Do you accept card payments?
Not available at the moment but will be introduced soon.

DingDoc is based in Thulusdhoo, North Malé Atoll, Maldives.

DingDoc
DingDoc started with one damaged surfboard, some basic materials and the need to survive after the pandemic.
What began as fixing boards for travelling surfers in Thulusdhoo slowly turned into something bigger. A proper surfboard service built by a surfer who understands how much a session, a board and a surf trip actually mean.
